Job summary

Asurgent Health Addiction Treatment Center is seeking an Overnight Tech for our sober living residence to help keep residents safe and supported during nighttime hours.

You will monitor the facility, assist residents, enforce house rules, respond to emergencies, and maintain clear communication with staff while providing compassionate care to individuals on their recovery journey. The role includes overnight shifts, weekend and holiday coverage, and opportunities to grow within the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential treatment or sober living preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Knowledge of addiction recovery principles preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and handle emergencies effectively.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• High school diploma or equivalent; related field training a plus.
• Dependable, responsible, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a presence and ensure safety during overnight hours.
• Conduct regular rounds and enforce house rules.
• Monitor security cameras and respond to disturbances.
• Provide emotional support and assist residents in accessing resources.
• Document incidents and communicate with management.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with on-call staff.
• Maintain clear shift communications and accurate records.
