Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patients during night shifts. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, document in EMR, and help with mobility and hygiene, under licensed personnel supervision. The role requires a High School Diploma, BLS, and LNA license (NH).

Experience in patient care is preferred. The position is onsite at 789 Central Avenue with 36 weekly hours and compensation in the listed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Certification required.
• LNA license (New Hampshire) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy and within established time frame.
• Completes all documentation in the medical record as required.
• Interacts with patients and their families effectively.
• Helps patients with basic hygiene tasks such as bathing and dressing, assisting with toileting if needed, and feeding.
• Assist with turning and repositioning patients in bed and with moving between bed and wheelchair.
• Reports health concerns to the nurses.
