Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is hiring for a Patient Care Associate to join the night shift team. The role involves direct patient care, 1:1 observation for safety, and assisting RNs and physicians with examinations in a hospital setting.

You will document vital signs, measurements, and treatments in the EHR, and support admissions and discharges as needed. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred), BLS certification, and NH LNABoard licensure or eligibility.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• LNA - New Hampshire Board of Nursing required

Mansioni

• Performs assigned patient care duties and clinical functions including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and assisting with examinations.
• Documents patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Assists with patient meals and ensures rooms are stocked and clean.
• Supports patient admissions and discharges and helps orient new PCA team members.
