Job summary

Pendleton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Mystic, CT is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide for nights and weekend shifts. You will assist with meal prep, tray assembly, and serving residents and staff in a clean, safe dietary area.

This role requires teamwork, following written and verbal instructions, good communication, and a willingness to work rotating shifts, including holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals and beverages.
• Participate in the food tray line and prepare trays according to diet cards in an efficient manner.
• Assist with loading food carts and serving meals to Residents and staff.
• Clean and wrap silverware, inspecting each piece to ensure it is clean before wrapping.
