Job summary

Pendleton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support residents and staff in our dietary department in Mystic, CT. You will assist in meal preparation, help with tray assembly, and ensure cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced health care environment.

• Previous food service or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals and beverages
• Participate in the food tray line and prepare trays according to diet cards in an efficient manner
• Assist with loading food carts and serving meals to Residents and staff
• Clean and wrap silverware, inspecting each piece to ensure it is clean before wrapping
