Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in Sparks, NV is seeking a Technician I to lead maintenance activities on the night shift. You will supervise a maintenance team, coordinate planned and emergency work, and drive improvements to uptime, throughputs, and product quality.

The role requires at least 2 years in manufacturing, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to read blueprints. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential, with weekend/overtime availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance teams on shift for planned and emergency work.
• Evaluate hourly personnel training needs and develop skills.
• Maintain uptime, through-put, and product quality metrics.
• Update Workday labor tracking and maintenance systems daily.
• Lead shift handoffs and communicate work order status to planners and supervisors.
• Lead troubleshooting activities and propose timely solutions.
• Oversee plan execution for PM, training, and capital projects.
• Participate in RCA and Lean Six Sigma progression.
• Identify continuous improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
