Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Technician I for nights at the Reno, NV gigafactory. You will lead maintenance activities, troubleshoot equipment, and drive improvements in uptime, throughput, and quality.

The role requires capable communication across teams and strong attention to safety and procedures. Requirements include an associate degree (or equivalent) with 2+ years in manufacturing, plus proficiency in reading blueprints and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct, and lead maintenance teams on shift.
• Evaluate and train hourly personnel for maintenance skills.
• Assess maintenance impact on uptime, throughput, and product quality.
• Update the computerized maintenance system daily.
• Lead troubleshooting activities and coordinate resources to resolve issues.
