Job summary

Mary Dickson is seeking dedicated Security Personnel to oversee the safety and security of the venue. You will be the first point of contact for access control, ensuring a secure environment for guests and staff throughout their visit.

Responsibilities include screening guests, monitoring behavior, deescalating conflicts, enforcing policies, and coordinating with emergency services when needed. Requires adaptability to flexible shifts and relevant certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Security: prior security role in nightlife or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong presence with ability to command respect without intimidation.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with patrons and team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills to assess and manage potentially dangerous situations calmly.
• Certifications in security-related trainings (crowd control, de-escalation, first aid) preferred.
• Adaptability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Guest Screening: Greet guests upon arrival and manage entry, ensuring only appropriate and safe individuals gain access to the establishment.
• Safety Management: Monitor guest behavior to prevent altercations and ensure a safe environment for all patrons and staff.
• Conflict Resolution: Respond to disturbances promptly and de-escalate without physical confrontation whenever possible.
• Rule Enforcement: Enforce venue policies regarding age, intoxication levels, and conduct.
• Emergency Response: Act quickly in emergencies, provide first aid if certified, and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
