Job summary

Springside Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Pittsfield, MA, is hiring a Night Working Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN) for the 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift. This position leads 11PM-7AM nurses and CNAs, oversees admissions/discharges, and coordinates staffing changes in a top-rated, newly renovated facility.

The ideal candidate has an RN or LPN license, CPR, at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience (preferably in long-term care), and supervisory skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid unencumbered RN/LPN State License and CPR certification.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or related healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in long-term care.
• Experience in supervision and teaching, and computer skills.
• Experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing practices strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervision of all 11PM-7AM Nurses and CNAs.
• Manage staffing changes.
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors.
• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions.
• Ensure high quality resident/patient care.
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed.
