Job summary

Springside Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Pittsfield, MA, is seeking a Weekend Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN) for Saturdays and Sundays, 7AM–7PM. This role leads weekend nursing staff, oversees admissions and discharges, and ensures high-quality resident care.

CPR-certified MA RN or LPN license is required, with 2+ years clinical nursing experience, including supervisory duties. Weekend differential compensation applies.

Qualifications

• Must hold MA RN or LPN license with current CPR certification.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience; preferred in long-term care.
• Experience in supervision and teaching, plus computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervise weekend RN, LPN, and CNA staff.
• Respond to family inquiries and concerns.
• Ensure high-quality resident/patient care.
• Support ancillary staff as needed.

Requirements For Weekend Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN)

• Must possess valid unencumbered, Massachusetts RN or LPN License and current CPR certification.
• Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred. Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care
• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred
