Job summary

Magna Seating seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee safety, quality and daily manufacturing production. This role leads production employees, coordinates workflow, resolves operational issues, and promotes continuous improvement initiatives to support business objectives.

Must be able to work night shift or weekend shift; requires 3–5 years in assembly manufacturing and 3+ years supervisory experience in a JIT automotive environment. Strong leadership and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of assembly manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a JIT Tier 1 automotive environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work weekends/overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety requirements and quality standards in daily production.
• Lead production employees, coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
• Promote continuous improvement to meet KPIs.
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate goals and performance results.
• Schedule staffing and ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll.
