Job summary

The Shift Manager will serve as the on-shift management representative to assure safe operations, environmental compliance, quality assurance, cost control, and productivity in all areas of the Paper Mill.

The role provides leadership and guidance in line with initiatives, policies, and procedures, ensuring effective communications across all shifts and serving as a resource to department managers and team leaders.

Qualifications

• BS in pulp and paper, engineering, or equivalent work experience in the pulp and paper industry.
• Two years of applicable work experience in paper mill operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operations and environmental compliance across the mill.
• Lead quality assurance, cost control, and productivity improvements.
• Provide leadership and guidance to department managers and crew leaders; facilitate effective communications across shifts.
