Job summary

Novo Building Products in Dallas, TX is seeking an Entry Level Team Lead for the night shift. The position supports the Supervisor to maintain safe, efficient warehouse operations and to coach team members toward goals and proper procedures.

Responsibilities include delegating tasks, training staff on safety and policies, directing product flow, resolving issues, and handling receiving, stocking, and loading activities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Flexibility in scheduling and overtime availability.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures.

Responsibilities

• Delegates tasks and sets deadlines for team goals.
• Trains team members on job duties, safety, company policies and procedures.
• Directs product flow of incoming or outgoing loads to optimize warehouse space.
• Oversees daily operations to ensure efficiency and answers team questions or problems.
• Anticipates and resolves issues that could delay freight and notifies customer service of carrier problems.
• Ensures paperwork is completed per department requirements.
• Communicates discrepancies, product issues, or safety concerns with the Supervisor.
• Completes Novo training and follows safety requirements.
• Participates in the safety team leadership.
• Performs warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, pulling, banding/staging, and loading.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
