Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations across stores, supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators. You will manage daily freight schedules, ensure efficient ship/receive processes, and uphold safety and SOP adherence.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, strong communication, team-building, and ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in warehouse or distribution
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building and follow-up skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills; comfortable with Windows-based systems
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping/receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory)
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs with relevant managers
• Uphold warehouse safety programs and OSHA compliance
• Ensure associates are trained and adhere to SOPs; manage disciplinary actions
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations and data entry
• Prepare activity reports for management and resolve shipping/invoice discrepancies
