Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. seeks an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct the warehouse operations for each store location. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, and manage daily freight schedules based on customer and inventory needs.

You will schedule personnel, ensure safety, train associates, and coordinate with other departments to keep shipments accurate and on time. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in basic math calculations.
• Strong computer skills and Windows-based systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities: shipping, receiving, inventory control, maintenance.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure safety programs and training to keep a safe workplace per OSHA standards.
• Manage disciplinary processes and resolve employee inquiries.
• Coordinate with other departments to support efficient operations.
• Prepare Activity Reports for management and resolve discrepancies in shipping, packing, and receiving reports.
