Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. is seeking a Night Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the outbound operations for perishable products in our Charlotte facility. You will ensure efficient shift execution, proper manpower utilization, and adherence to SOPs to maintain safety and quality.

The role requires coaching and supervising dock staff, scheduling labor, and coordinating with sales, purchasing, and inventory control to meet on-time delivery goals. Experience with perishable product handling is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of warehouse/operations experience in shipping and receiving perishable products.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and train hourly employees.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily processes on the dock and in coolers.
• Coach and develop the outbound associates.
• Monitor work, adherence to policy and safety requirements.
• Issue discipline when necessary.
• Interpret company policies, enforce safety and security regulations, and hold daily pre-shift meetings.
• Manage labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepare work schedules.
• Perform substitutions when items are unavailable for selection.
• Communicate with sales, purchasing, and inventory control.
• Spot check orders for accuracy and quality.
• Pull and double-check critical care orders for quality and accuracy.
• Inspect material handling equipment daily and coordinate repairs with maintenance.
