Job summary

MacLean Power Systems is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor- Night for its onsite facility in Bessemer, Alabama. The role leads hourly staff in a manufacturing warehouse, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficient operations.

You’ll work closely with the Inventory Control & Logistics Manager to optimize processes and compliance. The position requires a high school diploma, 5+ years of supervisory experience, propane forklift experience, and strong knowledge of warehouse procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• 2+ years of Propane Forklift experience required.
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations, policies, and procedures.
• Proven ability to lead, direct, and develop employees.
• Proficiency with data entry and inventory software and systems.
• Experience with personnel decisions including hiring, performance management, and disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Inventory Control & Logistics Manager with hiring and training of new employees.
• Schedule and oversee warehouse staff.
• Conduct physical inventory and compare to computerized inventory.
• Prioritize daily work for the team based on production needs.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Replenish stock and inventory as needed.
• Ensure stock is stored in correct warehouse locations.
• Schedule material for internal and external processes.
• Collaborate to develop plans to increase warehouse efficiency.
• Enforce operating instructions and safety policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
