Job summary

Performance Food Group's Performance Foodservice is hiring a Warehouse Selector to join our distribution team in Kentucky. You will pick and move product between loading dock and warehouse, using pallet jacks and forklifts, to fulfill customer orders with accuracy and safety.

We offer competitive pay ($27.00/hr + $2 night differential), health benefits from Day 1, 401K matching, and opportunities to advance. Sunday-Thursday nights with potential to shift to four days after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Ability to lift 10-100 lbs regularly and work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check; EPJ certification during training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews work schedule and prepares supplies for operations.
• Performs safety checks on pallet jack / forklift before use.
• Wears required PPE and safety gear.
• Operates pallet jack and moves items along multi-level racks to fulfill orders.
• Manages pallets and loads from pick slots to pallets; uses single/double pallets as directed.
• Transports completed orders to shipping dock staging area and may shrink-wrap pallets.
• Unloads, recharges batteries and completes vehicle inspection checks.
• Secures equipment and completes necessary paperwork at end of shift.
• Meets productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Reports unsafe conditions promptly and follows all safety policies.
