Job summary

Staples in Portland, OR is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support multiple areas, including bulk/material handling, replenishment, receiving, returns, and shipping. The role includes evening overnight shifts, safety-focused work, and potential moves between SC1/SC2 as needed.

You’ll operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers, lift 70–100 lbs, keep the area clean, and collaborate with teammates to ensure accurate orders and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Three months in a warehouse environment or equivalent training/experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Overtime availability for full-time associates as needed.
• Ability to lift 70–100 pounds by hand and work at heights as required.
• Wear safety shoes and maintain safe work practices.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick and move products up to 100 lbs.
• Work across multiple warehouse areas as assigned (SC1/SC2).
• Unload trucks, palletize products, and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist receiving/putaway/returns and shipping tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and internal/external contacts to resolve issues.
• Support safe work practices and uphold safety culture.
