Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our World Class Supply Chain team in a role that may rotate among six areas including bulk handling, porter, replenishment, receiving/putaway, returns, and shipping.

You will operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, pallet jacks) to move product up to 100 lbs, unload trucks, palletize orders, and ensure safety practices are followed in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, overtime hours may be required.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 and 100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• You must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick and move product up to 100 lbs.
• Unloads trucks and palletizes products while adhering to safety procedures.
• Works across multiple warehouse areas as needed (six areas listed).
• Maintains safe, clean work area and follows safety culture.
