Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Operations supervisor to oversee night warehouse activities, including order selection, replenishment, loading, and safety compliance. The role provides management and direction to warehouse staff and ensures efficient nightly operations.

The position requires the ability to supervise labor, manage schedules, and enforce company policies while coordinating with safety and facilities teams to maintain a secure, productive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 2 or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or similar major preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work and safety of employees engaged in night warehouse activities (order selection, replenishment, loading).
• Manages labor hours and consumable supplies within budget.
• Prepares work schedules including extra work days and shifts as needed.
• Administers proper utilization of company assets in support of the warehouse.
• Coordinates required repairs with proper departments as necessary.
• Reviews night warehouse functions and productivity reporting; suggests efficiency ideas and cost reductions.
• Conducts shipping and loading audit daily; ensures documentation and safe handling of materials.
• Assists with sanitation monitoring and facility/racking damage for a safe, clean warehouse.
• Assists with training of new associates and cross-training of existing staff.
