Performance Foodservice, a division of Performance Food Group, is seeking a Warehouse Selector in New Jersey. You will pick and move product between the loading dock and warehouse, operating pallet jacks and forklifts to fulfill customer orders with accuracy and speed.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 60-100 lbs, and working in multi-temperature environments. Starting pay is $27.00 per hour plus a $2.00 night shift differential, with a 90-day shift to a 4-day work week option.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled/assigned shifts, including required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull product weighing 10-35 lbs. regularly and up to approximately 60-100 lbs. (location dependent)
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer)
• Ability to pass post-offer drug test
• Pass criminal background check in post job offer process
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period
• Ability to complete required training independently

Responsabilités

• Reviews work schedule, obtains supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
• Performs safety check on pallet jack / forklift to be used and ensure that all other safety devices are functioning properly.
• Puts on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• Places pallets on pallet jack and operates along assigned multi-level racks and locate products according to order sheets.
• Manually places the appropriate stock items on pallet from pick slots and racks as required. Uses single and/or double pallets as directed.
• Transports completed palletized customer order to shipping dock staging area. May be required to shrink-wrap pallet for staging.
• Removes batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, or attach re-charger and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
• At the end of the shift, secures all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Meets required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Ensures work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
