Job summary

Performance Food Group (Performance Foodservice) is seeking an order selector for Augusta, ME. You will pick cases and other items from multi-level warehouse racks, load pallets, and prepare orders for shipment using electric pallet jacks in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate thrives in high-volume settings, pays close attention to detail, and works well in a team while maintaining reliable attendance and punctuality. Safety, efficiency, and accuracy are emphasized across all tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience working in high-volume, production-oriented environments with accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to identify variances, lot codes, and location numbers.
• Strong teamwork, communication and reliability, including consistent attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures per company guidelines, report unsafe conditions.
• Perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and wear PPE as required.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Move pallets on pallets jack and operate along multi-level racks to locate products.
• Place stock items on pallets from pick slots and racks.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock; shrink-wrap as needed.
• Replace batteries and complete vehicle inspection; finalize paperwork at shift end.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
