Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and related equipment to move raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse and production areas. You will load outgoing shipments to trailers and maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment.

The role includes 3rd shift Sunday–Thursday, 10:00pm–6:30am, with eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Operate industrial material handling equipment including forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts, etc. in an efficient and safe manner.
Load and unload trucks with raw materials and finished goods.
Spill cleanup and rework procedures.
Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality.
Comply with policies and standard operating procedures.
Keep equipment logs, perform minor repairs, and report breakdowns in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time.
Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies.
Provide technical support and training to other team members.
Contribute ideas to improve or optimize manufacturing procedures.
Keep tools, equipment, and the work environment clean and organized daily.
