Job summary

Allied Beverage Group in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking an Asst. Manager to lead night operations within our warehouse and distribution network.

You will report to the Night Manager, supervise staffing, ensure safety, quality, and on-time fulfillment, and drive continuous improvement in fill rate, throughput, and cost. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of supervisory experience in distribution warehousing, a bachelor's degree in logistics or related field, and familiarity with WMS and office software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics management, mechanical engineering, or business management.
• 5–7 years of supervision experience in a distribution warehouse.
• Operational supervision experience and distribution of product experience.
• Preferred warehouse automation experience.
• Functional understanding of WMS, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint; strong communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify staffing needs and plan for warehousing operations.
• Direct night operations to maximize fill rate, throughput and cost efficiency.
• Train and implement new technology and processes.
• Collaborate with Night and Day managers to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure safety of personnel, equipment and property and compliance with regulations.
