Job summary

Allied Beverage Group, New Jersey's largest wine and spirits distributor, seeks an Assistant Manager to lead night operations, improve fill rates, and drive productivity. You will guide staffing, training, and safety while coordinating with night and day teams to optimize warehouse performance.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, warehouse operation knowledge, and the ability to implement new technologies. Evening/night/weekend availability may be required based on operational needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, or business management.
5–7 years of supervision in a distribution warehouse.
Experience in operational supervision and warehouse processes.
Experience distributing product and coordinating inventory.
Preferred experience with warehouse automation.
Familiar with WMS, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint; strong communication.
Available to work evenings, nights, weekends when required.

Responsibilities

Plan staffing based on warehousing and distribution operations.
Decide based on shipping, receiving, and inventory control experience.
Ensure procedures match operation requirements.
Train and implement new technology and processes while maintaining productivity.
Collaborate with night/day operations to improve fill rate and throughput.
Ensure safety of personnel, equipment, and property.
Maintain compliance with government regulations.
