Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to lead warehouse operations for a store, supervising specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators. You will manage daily freight and coordinate with other departments to optimize shipping and receiving processes.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency, with extended hours during peak seasons and opportunities for professional growth. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy objects as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in warehouse/distribution
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Effective oral and written communication
• Strong computer skills and Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping/receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory)
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and repairs communication
• Oversee warehouse safety programs and OSHA compliance
• Train associates and enforce SOPs
• Handle inquiries and collaborate with other departments to optimize operations
• Produce activity reports and monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control
