Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking an Overnight Receiving Supervisor to direct warehouse operations across stores, supervise warehouse staff, and manage the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, strong communication, and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons. Office systems and collaboration with other departments are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities: shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control.
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs; ensure safe, efficient equipment.
• Oversee warehouse safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Ensure associates follow standard operating procedures.
• Handle disciplinary processes and maintain a productive labor climate.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Prepare activity reports for management.
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Execute Storage Buy Audit COP.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Store products properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Oversee rotation of inventories.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
