Job summary

Floor & Decor Overnight Receiving Supervisor leads store warehouse operations, directing forklift operators and order pickers while coordinating the daily freight schedule to meet customer and inventory needs.

You will supervise warehouse specialists and ensure safe, efficient processes, partnering with other departments to maintain accurate inventory and timely data entry.

The role requires working extended hours during peak seasons and upholding OSHA safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Oversee warehouse safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate with other departments to improve efficiency.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safe, efficient distribution operations.
• Complete activity reports for management and monitor paperwork flow.
