Job summary

Performance Food Group in Texas is seeking a warehouse associate to oversee the warehouse crew, guide operations, and ensure safe, accurate shipping and receiving while maintaining efficient product flow.

You will work in a multi-temperature environment, lift up to 80 pounds occasionally, and support daily production with adherence to safety policies. Benefits start Day 1 and include retirement plans and education support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years in warehouse/distribution environment.
• Able to work scheduled overtime.
• Multi-temperature environment (dry/cooler/freezer).
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Lift 10–35 lb; up to 80 lb occasionally.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Basic MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and keep area safe, report hazards.
• Obtain daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.
• Wear required PPE and perform forklift safety checks.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per guidelines.
• Assist warehouse crew with duties and provide input to team.
• Perform shipping/receiving, put-away, replenishment as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and clean loading docks and trailers.
• Provide backup support to warehouse management.
