Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a warehouse associate to oversee warehouse crew operations under the supervisor, ensuring safe, efficient flow of products through production and shipping processes. The role involves following safety policies, maintaining equipment, and supporting the team in daily tasks.

The position requires 1–2 years in a warehouse setting, ability to lift heavy items, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Must be able to work scheduled overtime.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (dry/cooler/freezer).
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs and up to 80 lbs occasionally.
• Pre-employment drug test.
• Basic MS Office skills.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and ensure a safe work area.
• Prepare daily production paperwork and schedules.
• Wear required PPE and safety gear.
• Perform safety checks on forklift/pallet jack.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Provide backup support to warehouse management.
• Handle shipping, receiving, pallet put-away, replenishment, returns and related duties.
