Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for the third shift (9pm-5am, Sun-Thu). The role supports timely order fulfillment by picking, packing, and loading products for delivery, while maintaining safety and organization within the warehouse.

You will operate forklifts or pallet jacks after training, count and record items, scan barcodes, and help ensure accurate inventory and on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/materials safely using a forklift, pallet jack, or related equipment.
• Count, check and record items coming into or being shipped out of the warehouse.
• Use handheld devices to scan barcodes for inventory tracking and accuracy.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Maintain organization and protect products from damage; follow safety procedures.
