Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Utilities team on the Night Shift to support the start‑up and daily operation of the FleX Batch facility. You will perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and documentation for plant utilities and associated equipment.

The role requires knowledge of utility systems (steam, WFI, HVAC, cooling) and the ability to work cross‑functionally with operations and vendors in a regulated environment. On‑call rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year of Utility Operations or Maintenance experience. Alternatively, an Associate’s Degree.
• Knowledge of plant utilities and mechanical maintenance preferred; familiarity with cGMP environment is a plus.
• Experience executing and documenting maintenance work orders in CMMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, test and document plant utility equipment.
• Perform operations and maintenance on systems like steam, chilled water, HVAC, WFI, and related equipment.
• Review maintenance reports, plans and records; communicate status to operators and stakeholders.
• Work with vendors and maintenance providers; participate in on-call rotations as needed.
