Job summary

Allied Universal in Sterling, VA is seeking a Security Officer Customer Service Unarmed Patrol to protect tenants and visitors at a commercial real estate location. You will monitor access, perform routine patrols, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screening are required by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by following site procedures and access-control protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report suspicious activity or issues as per site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, coordinated manner with site contacts and responders.
Prepare clear activity reports and maintain professional communication with clients and leadership.
