Job summary

Carter LOGISTEED Express, Inc. | Carter LOGISTEED Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Transportation Specialist to join the customer service team.

You will own the freight process from order creation to tracking, coordinating with carriers and customers, and proactively solving issues to meet customer expectations. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and, preferably, a college degree or at least one year in transportation or customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College degree and/or 1 year of transportation and customer service experience.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Must be able to work in a high stress environment with changing priorities.
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships through multiple channels in the order process.
• Create and track orders and coordinate with carriers and customers.
• Facilitate clear communication between carriers and customers.
• Organize and track freight on an established schedule.
• Escalate events through management channels as needed.
• Provide hands-on support during peak times or staff absence.
• Contribute to best practices across field office networks.
