Carter LOGISTEED Express, Inc. | Carter LOGISTEED Logistics, LLC. seeks a 3rd Shift Operations Supervisor to oversee drivers, routes, and dispatch staff at the Madison, AL site.

The role focuses on meeting operational and productivity goals to enhance customer satisfaction through process improvement and team leadership. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, supervise staff, and ensure safe, efficient operations while coordinating with the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to develop staff.
• Proven problem solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Dispatch and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Transportation dispatch experience is a plus.
• Create a safe and professional atmosphere for staff and drivers.
• Flexible scheduling to cover management needs, including weekends when required.
• Familiar with TMW or similar TMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Review staff performance and provide coaching.
• Manage staff scheduling, vacations and payroll.
• Coordinate daily tasks and activities.
• Manage and retain a designated fleet of drivers.
• Manage and retain office employees.
• Apply and reinforce company policies and expectations.
• Promote a safe and professional atmosphere for staff and drivers.
• Build strong relationships and foster a team environment.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
