Job summary

Carter LOGISTEED Express, Inc. | Carter LOGISTEED Logistics, LLC. in Laredo, TX is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate drivers, monitor routes, and ensure on-time delivery by updating status in company systems and communicating with suppliers, customers, and terminals.

This is an on-site 2nd shift position (11PM–8AM) with some weekend work; requires a High School Diploma or GED and proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of TMW software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior dispatch or route management experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace drivers, tractors and shipments for on time delivery.
• Effectively manage drivers using current company policies and procedures.
• Dispatch drivers to and from facility while managing driver routes.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, internal and external customers.
