Job summary

Carter LOGISTEED Express, Inc. in Anderson, IN is seeking a Transportation Specialist to manage customer relationships through the order process, create and track freight, and anticipate issues to deliver proactive solutions.

You will coordinate between carriers and customers, communicate clearly, organize freight schedules, and support peers across the network in a fast-paced, office-based crossdock environment with PPE requirements.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; College degree and/or 1 year transportation and customer service experience.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities; able to handle high-stress work with changing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; ability to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

Manage customer relationships through the order process, creating and tracking orders and coordinating with carriers and customers.
Provide proactive solutions to anticipate problems and exceed customer expectations.
Communicate effectively between carriers and customers and organize freight to match schedules.
Support peak times and staff absences; help develop best practices across field office networks.
Adapt to changing processes as the organization moves toward standardization.
