Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a CDL A Transit Driver in West Hartford, CT. The role involves transporting loaded and empty trailers, including doubles, from distribution centers or point-to-point via night transit. You will work night shifts with home daily and no touch freight.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, a minimum of 2 years driving with CDL A, and a doubles endorsement. Candidates must read and communicate in English and pass a DOT drug/background check.

Location: 20 Hurlbut Street West Hartford, CT Minimum of 2 years driving experience with your class A. Must have prior experience operating double trailers. No Auto Restriction; must be able to operate a 10 speed transmission. Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Schedule: Sunday - Thursday Start times range between 6-7pm and work until finished Pay: Component Pay: Pay per day and per trip Drivers are averaging $42 per hour!!
