Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a CDL A Transit Driver in West Springfield, MA. You will transport trailers between distribution centers, often at night, with guaranteed home time and no touch freight.

Location: 171 Park Ave Ste 3, West Springfield MA

Minimum of 2 years driving experience with your class A.

Must have prior experience operating double trailers.

No Auto Restriction; must be able to operate a 10 speed transmission.

Schedule:

Sunday - Thursday Start times range between 6-7pm and work until finished

Pay:

Component Pay: Pay per day and per trip Drivers are averaging $42 per hour!!

Does this look like you? At least 21 years of age Class A CDL License Minimum of 2 years driving experience with your class A Doubles (T) endorsement required Must be able to push and pull up to 50lbs (connecting trailers) Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork and follow verbal instructions) Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
