Job summary

Gordon Food Service in West Palm Beach is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver to work local, home daily. You will deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals and more, building relationships with customers and ensuring on-time, accurate delivery.

Day shifts with flexible start times, unloading up to 100 lbs, using a ramp and two-wheeler. Compensation includes weekly pay, base pay plus incentive components, benefits from day one, and opportunities for growth within a stable,

Qualifications

CDL A Delivery Driver - Home Daily No Auto Restriction; must be able to operate a 10 speed transmission. Location: 250 Truck & Trailer Way, West Palm Beach FL Do you have a passion for driving? In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more.

Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule

Monday to Saturday, with a flexible start time between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM, until the route is finished. With two days off during the week.

Pay

• Weekly minimum guaranteed: $1,100 per week
• Drivers average $99K/year
• Daily base pay, plus component pay
• Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered

Does this look like you?

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License required
• Must be able to operate a 10 speed transmission
• Food or Beverage delivery experience preferred
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions)
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
