Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Transcon Agent for the 3rd shift to support freight operations in Wisconsin. The role offers a full-time schedule with 4 ten-hour shifts, focusing on timely processing and data entry in our operational system.

You will track Transcon files, bill clients and vendors accurately, and coordinate with customers and suppliers to meet service standards. A proactive approach and strong communication are essential to succeed in this busy logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year related experience or training.
• Understanding of ocean documentation process is a plus.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including listening and clear communication.
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ability and desire to work 3rd shift (4 10's).
• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
• Track and Trace Transcon files and reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing.
• Ensure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicable.
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet service standards.
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Meet compliance at all times.
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests.
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy.
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs.
