Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation is seeking a Traffic Payroll Coordinator for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Wednesday, 8pm-6:30am) to manage driver payroll and routing operations. This role requires accurate data entry, strong communication, and reliable administrative support for Ace Fleet activities.

The position demands a minimum high school diploma, 2 years of administrative or customer service experience, and proficiency with SAP, QualComm, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required. Some college education is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years Administrative and/or Customer Service experience in an office setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Superb problem-solving skills, with ability to interact with customers and follow through quickly with problem resolution.
• Excellent computer skills. Prefer experience with SAP, QualComm, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Previous dispatching or multi-line phone experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign route for Ace Fleet Drivers.
• Maintain Daily/Weekly reports.
• Interact with Ace Retailers providing information and services.
• Serve as point of contact for the Drivers.
• Various other administrative duties, including Ace Retailer packing list and BOLs.
• Responsible for DMPS, E2Open.
• Accurately key driver payroll into Workday.
• Support drivers, stores and vendors daily.
• Serve as checks and balances for routing; updating daily sheets.
• Create driver packets: Driver packets go in driver’s room.
• Merge CPO freight onto regular routes.
• Will cross-train on other Traffic Department job tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
