Job summary

Ace Hardware is hiring a Traffic Payroll Coordinator for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Wednesday, 8pm–6:30am) to manage driver payroll, routing, and related admin tasks. The role emphasizes accuracy in Workday entries and strong communication with drivers and retailers.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in administrative or customer service roles, solid computer skills (including SAP/QualComm/Microsoft Office), and a safety-conscious mindset. Benefits accompany the position at Ace Hardware.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required. Some college education is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years Administrative and/or Customer Service experience in an office setting required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Superb problem-solving skills, with ability to interact with customers and follow through quickly with problem resolution.
• Excellent computer skills. Prefer experience with SAP, QualComm, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Previous dispatching or multi-line phone experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign route for Ace Fleet Drivers
• Maintain Daily/Weekly reports
• Interact with Ace Retailers providing information and services
• Serve as point of contact for the Drivers
• Various other administrative duties, including Ace Retailer packing list and BOLs
• Responsible for DMPS, E2Open
• Accurately key driver payroll into Workday
• Support drivers, stores and vendors daily
• Serve as checks and balances for routing; updating daily sheets
• Create driver packets: Driver packets go in driver’s room
• Merge CPO freight onto regular routes
• Will cross-train on other Traffic Department job tasks
• Other duties as assigned
• 11pm to 9am Sunday through Wednesday.
