Enloe Health is seeking a Tele Sitter Monitor to provide continuous observation via video and two-way audio, offering psychological support and surveillance for assigned patients. The role requires quick verbal redirection and prompt communication with nursing staff when assistance is needed.

Minimum six months of direct patient care experience and CPR certification are required. The position supports a nights shift, with variable days off, and a pay range of $23.20 to $29.69 per hour.

Formación

• Must demonstrate communication skills and sensitivity for the hospitalized patient and family including those with psychological needs.
• Remains alert at all times while on duty.
• Ability to communicate with patients using a microphone and headset.
• Ability to communicate with hospital staff and respond quickly to patient behavioral changes.
• Ability to use discretion and courtesy when working with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Basic computer operation skills.
• Basic Microsoft Windows experience.
• Efficiency in multitasking.
• Ability to prioritize simultaneous situations.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Responsabilidades

• Provide continuous observation via video and two-way audio.
• Provide psychological supportive services and surveillance of assigned patients.
• Verbally redirect patients from engaging in risk behaviors.
• Alert nursing staff when patient requires assistance.
• Evaluate and review utilization and operational workflows for Tele Sitter needs.
• Work in the Patient Monitor role on an as needed basis.
