Job summary

Enloe Health in Northern California seeks a Tele Sitter Monitor to provide continuous observation via video and two-way audio, deliver psychological support, and monitor at-risk patients. The role involves verbal redirection and rapid escalation to nursing staff when assistance is required.

Experience in patient care and CPR are required. You will review utilization and workflow for Tele Sitter services, manage equipment, and participate in on-call Tele Sitter coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Six months direct patient care experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must demonstrate communication skills and sensitivity to hospitalized patients and families; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous observation via video and two-way audio.
• Provide psychological supportive services and patient surveillance.
• Redirect patient verbally from at-risk behavior and alert nursing staff as needed.
• Evaluate utilization and workflows for Tele Sitter needs, equipment management, and patient selection.
• Perform Tele Sitter Monitor duties on an as-needed basis.
