Qualifications

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers within 90 days of employment.
• Hospital-specific training regarding sitter and patient care duties within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Maintains continuous visual monitoring of assigned patients.
• Verbal redirects patients from at-risk behaviors and notifies nursing staff as needed.
• Operates AvaSys TeleSitter software and two-way audio device to monitor patients.
• Collaborates with nursing staff to ensure patient safety and immediate response to emergencies.
• Participates in shift report and communicates pertinent observations to incoming staff.
