Job summary

Asda is hiring a Night Manager to lead the night team, ensuring the store runs smoothly while others sleep. You will safeguard stock availability, oversee 24-hour operations and uphold safety and legal standards across departments in a Great Bridge location.

The role requires steering night trading activity, coaching colleagues, and delivering high shopfloor standards with a culture of customer care and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Drive strategy into action during night shift by coordinating stock delivery, replenishment and waste control.
• Lead and coach night colleagues to maintain high shopfloor standards and customer service with personality.
• Execute tasks to ensure the shopfloor is ready for handover to the day team with promotions and hot spots.
• Develop talent and foster an environment where colleagues feel valued and motivated to step up.

Responsibilities

• You will manage and lead the night team to keep everything running whilst the rest of the world sleeps, ensuring best availability and highest shop floor standards across all departments.
• You will be solely responsible for the store through the night, overseeing operations as the store runs 24 hours.
• Lead with strength, drive through shifts and ensure store remains safe and compliant for customers and colleagues.
