Job summary

Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional in Ohio to plan, direct and supervise team members across store operations. You will mentor staff, coordinate staffing, and ensure customer service excellence while meeting sales and shrink targets.

You will also manage P&L responsibilities, promote safe work practices, oversee training, and guide promotions. The role requires 2–3 years retail experience with at least one year in management and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• At least one year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial information.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Mentor and coach team members to achieve customer service and sales goals.
• Manage P&L, sales and shrink for the department.
• Maintain store appearance and Meijer standards.
• Communicate the Meijer Friendly Initiative in team meetings.
• Ensure team training and completion of required training.
• Promote a safe work environment and maintain reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
