Job summary

Walmart is seeking a leadership role responsible for directing store operations and team development in Morganton, NC. You will coach associates, oversee daily store performance, and implement business initiatives across operations to meet sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college, OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For firearms facilities, complete firearms background check and training may be required.
• Associates must complete required trainings and assessments (Open Door, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, and giving feedback.
• Drive financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Ensure customer needs and issues are resolved, improve processes for high quality service.
• Coordinate actions with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs and promote continuous learning.
• Support Open Door policy and Walmart values, ensuring ethical, compliant operations.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities, hire, train, mentor, and promote a culture of belonging.
